BIT Group receive the Gold Award from the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme

BIT Group receive the Gold Award from the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme. As one of only 19 organisations in the South West to achieve this distinction, it reflects their genuine commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community for the past twenty years, not just in principle, but through meaningful action.

With veterans employed in key roles across the organisation, BIT Group recognise the value of creating a workplace that acknowledges their unique skills and experiences. That’s why they have introduced tailored HR policies, dedicated career transition support, and initiatives to ensure veterans feel welcomed and valued from day one. This award is a reflection of that commitment.

As an advocate to the scheme, BIT Group encourages their partners and supply chain to join them in signing the Covenant as a starting point, not an endpoint. The organisation continues to look for ways to strengthen its support, because standing with the Armed Forces community for over twenty years will always be a priority for the organisation.

"We’re honoured to receive the Gold Award from the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme. For over 20 years, we’ve supported the Armed Forces community through work experience, employment opportunities, both within our organisation and beyond and tailored training initiatives.

This award reflects our long-standing commitment to recognising the unique skills veterans bring and creating a workplace where they feel valued. We’ll continue to lead by example and encourage our partners to do the same" Mike Dieroff, CEO of BIT Group

Looking ahead, BIT Group remains committed to deepening its support for the Armed Forces community by strengthening inclusive employment pathways, expanding tailored training opportunities, and continuing to advocate for Defence-aligned practices across its network.
